The Gardener's Cottage gratefully supports the community in the following ways:
Food Drive. At both our Riverside and San Diego locations, we have an ongoing food drive. Our customers receive a coupon for 10% Off one item in the store for contributing two items of non-perishable food. Riverside contributions are donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank and San Diego contributions go to Interfaith Community Services for distribution in the community.
Merchandise Donations. We are happy to support local fundraiser efforts with contributions of merchandise for use as Silent Auction items. Requests for donations are reviewed and granted to appropriate agencies. The items are exquisitely wrapped and often steal the show! (Sample donation pictured).
The Festival of Trees. Each year, The Gardener's Cottage designs and decorates a fabulous auction tree with ornaments from our shop. The proceeds support vital medical equipment for the neonatal and pediatric patients at the Riverside County Regional Medical Center.
